Most projects are completed in a single session and increase in difficulty as the program progresses. This allows students to build their skills and it is exciting for them to take their work home as soon as it is finished. The final 2 classes are usually spent making a string backpack, but it varies depending on student interest.

 

Class size: 3-4 people

 

Ages: 9 - 12

 

Cost:

• $220 for all six sessions

• a $100 deposit can be made to the.sewing.school.ptbo@gmail.com to confirm enrollment. The balance can be paid by e-transfer or by cash on the day of the first session.

• The cost includes instruction, the use of class machines*, tools, thread and other supplies.

• NOTE: All fabrics and notions ARE also provided for these class

*You may also bring your own sewing machine to use if this is better for you.  

 

Date(s):

• We run Kidstitch Sessions in the fall and the spring.

 

Time(s):

• 1.5 hour classes on Saturdays from 10am until noon

• All materials and tools are provided for this class

Location:

• Classes are held in The Sewing School studio located in the south end near the Memorial Centre​
   

A few notes:

• A minimum of 3 students is required for the class to run.

• Class details are emailed to parents closer to the starting date.

• Classes are not held on long weekends or on statutory holidays.

• Days missed due to inclement weather will be scheduled for the Saturdays following the end of the class schedule.
