All of our classes run throughout the year. They are usually scheduled when we have enough interest. Please contact us if you are interested - we may have classes starting in the coming weeks. Also, sign up for our newsletter to hear about class scheduling.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are tailored to student ability and interest. The school has electronic machines but students may also bring their own machines.

Children 11 and under: 1.5 hour sessions, $37

Age 12 to adult: minimum 2 hour sessions, $50

Kidstitch
Sewing lessons are an exciting gift and 9 is a good age for children to start learning. Sewing helps children develop life skills, improve cognitive abilities, fine motor coordination and self-esteem. It also happens to be a great creative outlet and a lot of fun!

Teen Sewists
Teens build their skills with basics like pyjama pants, skirts, rucksacks, and makeup/pencil cases. Classes feature small groups, fun and useful projects, and the opportunity to extend skills. ​Students personalize projects by purchasing their own fabric and notions.

Kickstarter Class

A two-session class for first time sewists and those looking for a refresher, Kickstarter is designed to build skills and create confidence with machine sewing. The two projects are selected to be fun and practical!

Skillbuilder Classes
Prerequisite: Kickstarter 1 or equivalent​
These classes take a student's sewing skills to the next level. Projects are carefully selected to help students expand their knowledge while creating something fun.

Workshops - Intermediate to Advanced
Expand your sewing skillset with workshops. Students cut and sew a garment for themselves from a featured indy pattern. Most projects take six hours, but the length of this class will vary with the pattern chosen.
