Service Description
This is a continuation of Teen Fashion Sewing Level 1. With this foundation, students can create garments of their own choosing. They will learn new sewing techniques as they are supported through their independent sewing projects. Students should be able to complete a basic garment during this 4-week introduction to sewing their own clothes. In this course, students will learn how: • Operate the sewing machine - thread bobbins, change needles etc. • Learn the varying characteristics of different fabrics • Take proper measurements and learn how to size accordingly • Use commercial patterns • Pin, cut, and mark pattern piece • Construct an easy sew pattern of their choice in a woven fabric Pre-requisite: Teens Fashion Sewing Level 1 or the equivalent training through private lessons
